Clear expectations for every seed family.

Orders and payment

Orders are accepted only through an open group-buy link. Prices, any $5 Host-pickup handling amount, online payment processing, and—when applicable—USPS postage are disclosed before they are charged.

All-sales-final policy

Because group buys combine many families’ paid selections into one supplier order, paid seed orders are generally final. This does not limit refunds or remedies required by law, including for an unavailable product, an unfulfilled order, an unauthorized payment, or a duplicate or incorrect charge.

Fulfillment

Standard supplier fulfillment requires at least 50 paid seed packs. Reaching 50 does not close the group. The Savvy Seed Mama closes it when recruiting is complete. A below-minimum group may proceed only when Renee, as program administrator, grants a special exception through the private administrator dashboard. The usual group window is no more than 21 days.

Host pickup

Host-pickup families pay a flat $5 handling amount instead of individual postage. The Host earns one free Garden Seed Pack when the group reaches 50–99 paid packs sold, or two free Garden Seed Packs when it reaches 100 or more paid packs, regardless of the number of participating families. Remaining eligible handling proceeds are allocated under the program’s approved supplier and Serena House policy.

Individual shipping

For an Individual Shipping group, seed products first travel in bulk to the Savvy Seed Mama. Each family pays separately disclosed USPS postage for delivery to its address. No $5 Host-pickup handling amount applies.

Serena House support

After Host rewards are funded, a portion of eligible local group-handling proceeds supports Serena House, A Way Station of Hope. Until tax-exempt recognition is received, this support is not represented as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.

Earnings statement

The program provides tools and commission rules, not guaranteed income. Results depend on sales, participation, expenses, local requirements, and each Savvy Seed Mama’s work.

Privacy

Customer details are used to process payment, organize the correct group, and fulfill or support the order. The private supplier receives consolidated product totals and the approved destination—not the family recruiting list. Supplier identity and contact details remain confidential. We do not sell customer contact information.

Pilot notice

The Founding Pilot uses real payments, real commissions, and real seed fulfillment under direct program supervision. Testers agree to report problems promptly so they can be corrected.
